1. Amount to be paid in full by date of event. Any cancellations of your bookings will be charged a $125 non-refundable fee. Amount of $125 to be paid within first 60 days. This would include any unforeseen sickness or death that you would have to cancel your event. Any unpaid amount remaining after the event will be charged an additional 10%. If date is rescheduled, monies paid will go towards new rental date. This rental agreement may be terminated by giving written notice to Santiam Place 90 days in advance.
$50 Deposit required to hold date.
2. Renter agrees to pay $______ per hour for _________hours. There is a three hour minimum rental for larger indoor events at $300 for first three hours. Any additional time using facility will be charged at a rate of $50 per hour. Indoor Weddings & Receptions are $500 for first three hours and $50 per hour after that. Outdoor/Indoor events are $650 for first three hours and $50.00 per hour for each additional hour. Small Conference Room - $15 per hour (no kitchen use)

Renter has examined the premises and accepts the same as being clean, in good order, condition and repair with the following exceptions: ________________________________________________________
4. No animal, bird or pets allowed on or in the premises without prior written consent of the Landlord, or as allowed by law.
5. Renter shall not disturb, annoy, endanger or interfere with other renters of the building or neighbors, nor use the premises for any unlawful purposes, nor violate any law or ordinance, nor commit waste or nuisance upon or about the premises.
6. Renter agrees to comply with all rules or regulations posted on the premise and/or delivered to renter by the Landlord (see page 4).
7. Renter agrees to leave premises clean and in condition as first found.
8. Owner or their authorized representative may enter the premises at any time without securing prior permission from Renter for the purposes of making corrections or repairs to alleviate any shortcomings or emergency or other needs.
9. Renter shall not let or sublet all or any part of the premises nor assign this agreement or any interest in it without the prior written consent of the Landlord.
10. If any legal action or proceeding be brought by either party to enforce any part of this agreement, the prevailing party shall recover in addition to all other relief, reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.
11. The renter of hall is encouraged to review homeowner’s policies for coverage of any activities they are involved in. Please provide copy for hall if asked.
12. Set-up and clean-up of personal items is not included in the rental fee, and is the responsibility of the renter. Set-up/clean-up available at a rate of $50 per hour.

13. The undersigned renter acknowledges having read the foregoing prior to execution and receipt of a copy and has agreed to all items.

All items must be left cleaned and in good condition as found. Tablecloths may be left soiled with any food, wax, and other decorations removed

Additional fees may be charged if items or premises or facility are found in poor repair/broken/mishandled/missing/dirty

We reserve the right to refuse rental to anyone
Santiam Place Restrictions:

o No alcohol to be taken out of front of building. No alcohol allowed in parking lot. Alcohol consumed by those 21 and older only
o No Alcohol en frente o’ en el estacionamiento

o Please do not pick flowers or pull limbs off trees, shrubs or flowers
o Stay out of flower beds
o Do not pick up, throw or move any rocks
o No glitter or confetti used in decorating. Use bubbles instead of rice or bird seed
o Do not lean on canopies
o Do not carve or deface any items
o Toys, books and movies will be picked up and put back into place
o No outside people (public) may be invited into your event. You have rented the facility for your private party and it is closed to the public
o Any fire pits, turkey cookers or outside cooking equipment (other than BBQ grills) need to be authorized to be brought in by the owner
o No climbing onto any fences, gates or other structures
o No Pets
o No tape, pins, screws, nails or staples on any painted surface
o No loud music after 10 PM
o No chafing dishes with lit sterno on tablecloths

I agree to follow these restrictions and to inform my guests to the best of my ability. I understand that I am responsible for any damage caused by any guest or family member at my event. I agree that I will make restitution for any damages or breakage caused during my event.
